SIX Broadway Workshop
On October 5 2025, Broadway for Arts Education kicked off the new fiscal year in unforgettable fashion with our SIX Workshop, a high-energy Broadway workshop fundraiser that brought students, families, and supporters face-to-face with the magic of Broadway — while raising $19,000 for arts education across New York City!
Held at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, the workshop welcomed participants for an immersive afternoon led by Broadway cast members of SIX, including teaching artists Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert, Abby Mueller, and Anna Uzele. Students learned original choreography and performance techniques straight from the Broadway queens themselves, gaining insider insight into what it takes to perform at the highest professional level.
Beyond the artistry, the event was a powerful expression of BAE’s mission. Funds raised through the workshop directly support arts education programs in resource-constrained and historically underfunded NYC schools, helping ensure that more young people have access to meaningful, high-quality creative opportunities. The workshop also brought together an incredible community of families, volunteers, host committee members, and donors who made the day possible.
From the final run-through in tiaras to the standing-room smiles from parents and supporters, the Six Workshop was a joyful reminder of what happens when Broadway excellence meets purpose-driven education. We are deeply grateful to our teaching artists, volunteers, and supporters for helping us start the school year with such momentum — and we can’t wait to build on this energy throughout the year.
