Hamilton x BAE

Broadway for Arts Education partnered with the cast of Broadway’s Hamilton, Ham4Progress, and Broadway Rave to raise $10K+ for Washington Heights High School Drama Program.

Wicked x BAE

On January 12, more than 60 young singers and dancers joined Broadway for Arts Education (BAE) for our first ever Wicked Broadway Workshop. Led by Wicked dancer Colby Q Lindeman, they spent 2.5 hours learning "One Short Day" culminating in a presentation for family and friends with Glinda and Elphaba. In total, the workshop participants fundraised over $17,000 in support of the Cornelia Connelly Center's theater department and upcoming production of "The Wiz.” As Madame Morrible would say: “Congratulotions!”

Life of Pi x BAE

The talented cast of the Broadway production "Life of Pi," made a stop by Shanti Bhavan. Led by the dynamic trio of Hiran Abeysekara (Pi), Mahira Kakkar (Amma), and Mahnaz Damania (ensemble), these Indian and Sri Lankan stars brought the magic of theater straight to the students' screen.

Dear Everything x BAE

On January 30, more than 30 students from across NYC came together to perform as the “Earth Choir” for a concert production of Dear Everything, a new musical that follows a group of young people in a small town whose determination to save their local forest endows them with powers they never knew they had.
