The lights have dimmed, but the sparkle remains. Our first-ever Broadway in Marrakesh event this past weekend was, in a word, mesmerizing.

Friday: An Intimate Gala Dinner
Our weekend began Friday night with an exclusive VIP Gala Dinner & Private Concert. Thanks to our sponsors, Pharmacie Mouhassine and Welcome Morocco, and the stunning efforts of Sarah Edwards, the Farm Slimane was transformed into a luxurious yet grounded space for our black-tie affair. The beautiful setting, provided by Scantry Slimane, was the perfect backdrop for a lovely catered dinner from Nomad Eats.
Broadway stars Ali Ewoldt, Skie Ocasio, Vishal Vaidya, and Julie James along with Ben Houghton, Leigh Emery and Brittany Stone, offered a rare, up-close experience. Their performances moved the audience and set the tone for a weekend full of magic and connection.
Saturday: A Sparkling Live Concert
The following evening brought the full energy of Broadway to the modern Meydene theater at M Avenue. The Broadway performers truly sang the house down with unforgettable songs from beloved musicals. A standout moment was the collaboration with local student performers, who shared the stage with the Broadway veterans. This partnership embodied the very heart of our mission: empowering young artists through mentorship, performance, and shared artistry.
Marrakesh is already buzzing with excitement as attendees and locals alike reminisce about the weekend’s unforgettable performances.
