A Day of Broadway Magic and Giving Back: & Juliet Workshop

In May, Broadway for Arts Education welcomed young performers to Alvin Ailey Studios for a special & Juliet workshop led by Broadway cast members Ben Jackson Walker and Veronica Otim. Over the course of an afternoon filled with music, movement, and inspiration, students had the opportunity to step inside the world of one of Broadway's most popular musicals while supporting arts education opportunities for young people across New York City.

While the workshop was filled with laughter, dancing, and plenty of Broadway excitement, it also served a larger purpose. The & Juliet workshop marked the culmination of a year of special Broadway experiences that collectively raised more than $60,000 to support BAE programs and expand access to arts education and mentorship opportunities for young people.
