The Room Where It Happened: Inside Our 2026 Hamilton Workshop

On February 8, more than 60 young performers stepped into The Room Where It Happens for our 2026 Hamilton Workshop Fundraiser led by Hamilton cast members Thayne Jasperson and Lauren Boyd. And thanks to our incredible community, we didn’t just meet that goal—we exceeded it. Together, we raised over $20,000 to support in-school arts programming and mentorship opportunities for young people who might not otherwise have access. Every dollar raised helps bring Broadway professionals directly into classrooms, creating spaces where students can build confidence, find their voice, and imagine new possibilities for themselves.

Proceeds from the Hamilton Workshop are already helping fuel meaningful programming across our partner schools, including facilitating a theater tech arts camp for high school students, giving them hands-on experience in the behind-the-scenes careers that make theater possible while serving as the sound, lighting, and stage crew for the Cornelia Connelly School’s production of West Side Story

To everyone who participated, donated, volunteered, and believed in this work: thank you. And a very special shout out to Thayne Jasperson and Lauren Boyd for leading with such generosity, passion, and care, and to all of the incredible staff and volunteers who made this event such a success.
