In its third year, the BAE partnership with WHEELS continues to make a significant impact, with strong student engagement both in and out of the classroom, and a growing presence throughout the school. This year’s greatest achievement was acceptance into Disney’s School of Excellence program, allowing us to produce Disney’s The Little Mermaid in the Spring of 2025. Additionally, we chartered Troupe 12153 with the Thespian Honor Society.

We are proud to share that there are 25+ students involved in this program, making it the BAE’s largest after-school program for FY25.

Summer programming has been offered to WHEELS students, this summer program (in collaboration with Pied Piper Children’s Theater) offers an opportunity to maintain student connection and enrich experiences beyond the school year.
