IMPACT REFLECTION
School year 24/25 marked BAE’s fourth year in partnership with the Urban Assembly Academy of Government and Law. The Urban Assembly Academy of Government and Law (AGL) is a public high school in the Lower East Side of New York City focused on preparing students for careers in law, government, and related fields. It offers Advanced Placement courses, career-connected learning, and work-based programs.
After exploring the fundamentals of musical theater with singing, dance, and acting lessons, the AGL program took a unique path towards a final project. Instead of a live concert or musical, students performed and produced an original movie musical courtroom drama, fusing together their interests in government and law and musical theater.
